The Rocksters wedding band line up is a 5 piece – drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, keys/vocals, lead female vocals.
Live set times are 3 x 50 mins or 2 x 75 mins, but we do work to individual timetables, if required. A compilation of pre-recorded music is played through the band PA during all breaks between live sets. We will bring a wide range of music with us however you are welcome to provide your own break music on a cd or ipod (mp3 player). This is great as it saves you the extra cost of having a DJ.
All PA, backline, i.e. guitar amps, drum kit etc and stage lighting, are provided by the band. For an evening performance, we would normally arrive prompt at 6pm to be set up and ready by 7pm.
For a wedding, the band is happy to learn a first dance song of your choice to make your special day more memorable, we only ask for a weeks notice. A song list will be provided with your booking information, where you may choose a handful of ‘must have’ songs, if you wish. The band can then create the play list for your event, with the addition of tunes which have been road tested and proven to work. We also read the audience and will play to keep the dance floor full.
The band is always punctual, polite and professional – from your first enquiry to the final encore at the end of the gig! We have a smart dress code, unless otherwise stated. In short, you don’t have to worry about ‘what the band are doing’, as we aim to provide ‘hassle free’ musical entertainment, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the evening to the full.
We are based in the South East and London, and tend to be booked in the surrounding locale and have had the pleasure of playing in some of the South East’s most beautiful venues. We are experienced at working in rooms with sound monitors and working to health and safety parameters, and the band has full public liability insurance for up to five million pounds.
